Setting the minimum password length

Set the PASS_MIN_LEN value in the /etc/login.defs file to 8 or more.

Setting the maximum password age

Set the PASS_MAX_DAYS value in the /etc/login.defs file to 60 or less.

Setting the minimum password age

Set the PASS_MIN_DAYS value in the /etc/login.defs file to 30.
