A simple and elegant notebook to write new words and discover their meanings and synonyms https://wordnote.app

Features

• There were already more than 300 apps on the App Store, but none that I liked
  • Goals: offline support, fast, saves search history, no useless features, no lock-in, and a good dataset
• Built a minimal text UI, developed with SQLite + React Native, and released as open source. Multilingual support
• Dictionary data is downloaded via the freeDictionary API, which uses Wiktionary
  • The 300,000 most commonly used English words are generated into a 21MB SQLite DB
• Searched words are synced to iCloud and Google Drive
