A wireless network is a computer network that uses wireless data connections between network nodes. In other words, it is a general term for communication networks that use radio (radio waves) instead of cables to carry signals.
It is often used for internet access from terminals such as PCs and PDAs. Representative methods are WAP, used under the Wireless Internet Protocol, and wireless LANs such as NESPOT.
