Widevine DRM is Google's content protection system for premium media, used by major partners around the world.

Widevine is a video DRM solution made by Google.

Thanks to the advantage of being a free solution that charges no separate royalties to either hardware/chipset makers or video service providers, it is used by a variety of OTT services.
