Legal issues with web fonts
To use web fonts, you also have to resolve legal issues. As with software, many individuals and companies create and sell fonts, and you should remember that when you put a TrueType font on a web server so visitors can use it when viewing a page, anyone can download that font and use it on their own website or in a word processing program.
Most font makers have license policies that prohibit use on the web, so even a font purchased from Adobe cannot be used on the web without taking some action. To do so, you must purchase a different kind of license at a different price.
Use in programs installed on a computer is permitted, but uploading the font to a web server and using it as a web font may not be.
If you are not sure whether web use is permitted, it is better to give up on it and look for a font that can be used on the web.
To avoid legal issues with fonts, it is better to use a font service like Google Fonts or Adobe's commercial web font service like TypeKit.
Inline SVG
How to inline SVG directly on the web. (Related to v-icon)
SVG's can be used inline in the HTML.
<svg style="width:24px;height:24px" viewBox="0 0 24 24">
<path fill="#000000" d="M ... Z" /> <!-- account -->
</svg>
Inline SVGs can also be overlayed by adding additional paths.
<svg style="width:24px;height:24px" viewBox="0 0 24 24">
<path fill="#000000" d="M ... Z" /> <!-- account -->
<path fill="#990000" d="M ... Z" /> <!-- block-helper -->
</svg>
