LG webOS (webOS, LG webOS) is a mobile operating system that runs on the Linux kernel. As the successor to Palm OS, it was developed by Palm, later acquired by Hewlett-Packard, and then acquired by LG after that. Palm announced it in January 2009, and it drew attention for its full Web 2.0 technology, openness, multitasking, and ease of use. The first device to use webOS was the Palm Pre, released in June 2009. This operating system is one of the operating systems that delivered software updates for all devices over wireless communication. From 1992 to 2002, the PDA maker Palm led Palm OS. In 2002, it created a wholly owned subsidiary, PalmSource. PalmSource became independent and was acquired in 2005 by the Japanese developer ACCESS Co., Ltd.
In 2010, Hewlett-Packard took notice of webOS and acquired Palm. In February 2011, it announced the HP Pre 3 and HP Veer, smartphones running webOS 2.2, and the HP TouchPad, a tablet PC running webOS 3.0, to be released in summer 2011.
On February 25, 2013, LG Electronics acquired all rights to webOS except the patents. In 2014, it showed smart TVs with built-in webOS at CES. LG's webOS smart TVs inherit Card view, a feature of the original webOS, and their big advantage is that you can quickly enter the app menu anytime, anywhere without interrupting the screen you are currently watching.
However, as stated above, LG's acquisition of webOS is limited to the source code, documentation, websites, and so on, so it must pay HP license fees for the patents.

There are a few methods.
