A graphics card (North Korean standard term: dohyeong-cheori-jojong-soja, literally "shape-processing control element") is a computer hardware component and expansion card that outputs images to a display device. It is also called a video card, video adapter, display card, graphics board, display adapter, or graphics adapter. Most graphics cards provide various features such as accelerated rendering for 3D scenes and 2D graphics, MPEG-2/MPEG-4 decoding, TV output, and multi-monitor connection.
