Yarn 2 build support
As of June 26, 2022, if the following occurs in the build step during deployment:
Error: Command "yarn install" exited with 1
BUILD_UTILS_SPAWN_1: Command "yarn install" exited with 1
If you are using yarn v2, downgrade to yarn v1.
To summarize the Does Vercel support Yarn 2? page:
The Vercel build pipeline supports Yarn 2 only for static builds. Serverless functions and SSR (server-side rendering) do not work with Yarn 2. The Vercel build pipeline fully supports Yarn 1 for all deployment types.
