Creating a new user

INFORMATION

The main way to use it

sudo useradd -s /bin/bash -U -m -p [PASSWORD] [USERNAME]

If you want to add the user to the wheel group:

sudo gpasswd -a [USERNAME] wheel
$ su -l [USERNAME]

If sudo privileges have not been added, modify the permissions using visudo or sudoedit.

Or add a file as follows:

echo "[USERNAME] ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL" > /etc/sudoers.d/[USERNAME]
chmod 440 /etc/sudoers.d/[USERNAME]

Note: do not add the user to the sudo group like this

# sudo usermod -aG sudo [USERNAME]

Remove the previously used, unneeded user and files as follows.

userdel -r vagrant

Create a user in docker group

$ groupadd docker
$ useradd -G docker [USERNAME]
