Terminology
- Select: Lets you select objects in the editing window. Selection is mainly for moving objects.
- Marquee: Lets you select multiple objects by selecting an area. Unlike Select, it cannot move objects.
- Note: An object used to attach a description.
- Anchor to Note: A line connecting a Note to the object the Note describes.
- Actor: An icon representing an object that triggers execution; can be used for a person, a system, etc.
- Use Case:
- System Boundary: Marks the System area.
- Relation: Used to draw relationships between objects.
- Generalization: Used to express generalization and inheritance in a Use Case.
- Include: Used to show an include relationship in a Use Case.
- Extend: Used to show an extend relationship in a Use Case.
