Notes on how to use Subversion with Trac.

Repository resync

Version sync can be applied as follows.

$ trac-admin /repo/trac/project repository resync "repo_name"

Subversion hook script

Use this when it should update automatically after each commit via a hook script. Use SVN's post-commit hook.

trac-admin /repo/trac/project changeset added "repo_name" $REV

Error post-commit hook failed

The following message is printed on commit.

Error post-commit hook failed (exit code 255) with no output.

In this case, check the execute permission of the post-commit script.
