Self-hostable task management board based on Markdown files
About
- A self-hosted application that treats each Markdown file as a card and manages them as a lane-based Kanban board
- Provides a modern UI for creating and editing cards, lanes, and tags, and supports dark/light themes and 3 default color themes
- Easy installation with a single Docker image; data and configuration are separated into the /tasks and /config volumes
- Since card files are text/Markdown, task changes can be tracked as PR/commit history by linking with a Git repository
- Tech stack
- Frontend: SolidJS (reactive UI) + Stacks-Editor (Markdown editing UX)
- Backend: lightweight server built with Koa + serve-static serving CSS as-is
- The goal is a balance between performance and maintainability
