Description of the Subversion-Python module.

On Fedora, it can be installed as follows. 

$ sudo yum install subversion-python

Pre-build Package install

If you have a pre-built package, just copy it into the directory where the Python Library is installed.

For example, installing the svn-python installed on Mac OS X goes as follows.

  • Location: /opt/subversion/lib/svn-python
  • Subdirectories: csvn, libsvn, svn 
$ python --version
Python 2.7.5
$ cd /usr/lib/python2.7
$ sudo cp -r /opt/subversion/lib/svn-python/* .

Note that you should carefully check the library path for your version.
