Super-agent driven library for testing node.js HTTP servers using a fluent API.

Intro

• API testing built with Node.js (supertest)

An HTTP library can be implemented using the basic modules each framework provides: Node.js's http and the browser's XMLHttpRequest class.

Rather than using these directly, people tend to use libraries that add a layer of abstraction.

• The request module for backend development with Node
• In the browser, the $http service provided by jQuery or Angular itself
• More recently, since using vue.js or react.js, axios and superagent

SuperTest is an HTTP assertion library based on this very superagent.
