Source Han Sans

Source Han Sans (Noto Sans CJK/Source Han Sans) is an open-source pan-CJK font released by Google and Adobe Systems in July 2014, supporting Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, as well as Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic. Google distributes it under the name Noto Sans CJK, and Adobe under the name Source Han Sans. Google covered the entire development cost, Adobe led the project, and Sandoll Communication, SinoType, and Iwata took part in the design. Development took 3 years. It is licensed under OFL 1.1. It can be downloaded through Typekit for desktop or from Google's website. Its sister typeface is Source Han Serif.

Additional features

Notably, Source Han Sans comes with Noto Sans Mono CJK, a monospaced font. It is included in Google's Noto font family.

On April 3, 2017, Noto Serif CJK (Source Han Serif), a sister typeface supporting Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean all in one font, was released.
