lastmod 2026-04-14created 2026-04-141 edits
A self-hosted tool for querying past DB data without restoring backups
Key features
- Snapshot capture — Saves PostgreSQL and MySQL tables as Apache Parquet files. Supports Cron-based automatic snapshots and retention policies (daily/monthly)
- SQL queries — DuckDB-based, so snapshots from any point in time can be queried directly with SQL. Supports table joins, aggregation, and CSV/JSON export
- Snapshot comparison — Places snapshots from two points in time side by side for a row-level diff. Added/deleted/changed rows are distinguished by color
- Flexible storage — Local file system or S3-compatible storage (AWS S3, MinIO, etc.)
