Rigid body dynamics (剛體力學) is a branch of mechanics that studies the relationship between the forces acting on a rigid body and its motion. It is a theory of mechanics described through kinematics and Newton's second law or Lagrangian mechanics, and materials that exhibit high elasticity, fluidity, or plasticity are excluded from the theory.
