A terminal-based REST client (supports HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC)
About
A CLI-based API client that reads .http or .rest files directly to make API requests, without Postman or an IDE
Supports HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC requests
Modal editor with Vim keybindings: visual selection, clipboard copy (yank)/delete (cut), Shift+F search, and i / Esc to switch between insert mode and view mode
The workspace explorer can filter to browse only .http/.rest files, with incremental search for quick navigation
Without a separate file, just type a URL and press Ctrl+Enter to run an inline request immediately
Supports curl command parsing, interpreting some curl options and converting them into a request
Provides a state-aware response panel. The top header shows the current workspace, environment, running request, and script/test results
The response area includes Pretty, Raw, Headers, and History tabs, along with a request preview feature
Responses can be split vertically or horizontally, and panels can be pinned to compare the Pretty / Raw / Headers tabs side by side or view differences in a unified diff view
The @auth command supports Basic, Bearer, API Key, and custom header schemes. Built-in helper functions such as :Template:\(timestamp</span> and <span markdown="1">:Template:\)uuid are also provided
Supports pre-request and test scripting:
Modify request contents before sending via JavaScript-based hooks,
perform assertions (assert) on responses,
and see pass/fail results right in the editor
GraphQL and gRPC support: automatic request formatting and metadata handling with the @graphql and @grpc directives
Provides session persistence: the cookie jar, request history, and per-environment entries persist across restarts. @no-log excludes (masks) the response body from the history
