A replay attack is a form of network attack in which a valid data transmission is maliciously or fraudulently repeated or delayed. It is carried out either by the originator or by an attacker who intercepts the data and retransmits it, as part of a spoofing attack by IP packet substitution.
About
An attack method that copies a message in a protocol and retransmits it, so that the attacker is mistaken for an authorized user.
Can be used against web services, authentication, access control, packet information reuse, and so on.
