The receiver operating characteristic (受信者操作特性, Receiver operating characteristics, ROC), also called the responder operating characteristic or receiver response characteristic, is a graph in signal detection theory of the hit probability (Y axis, True Positive Rate, Sensitivity) against the false alarm probability (X axis, False Positive Rate, 1- Specificity). The ROC graph explains the relationship in which the miss rate increases as the correct rejection rate increases, as a relationship of utility versus cost.
