A new operating system offering partial compatibility with macOS

About

• ravynOS is an open-source operating system offering a macOS-like user experience and partial source compatibility
• Combines existing open-source packages and new code on a FreeBSD base, targeting x86-64 and, in the future, ARM systems
• Key design goals: compiling and running macOS application source, a similar GUI structure, and folder layout compatibility
• Provides install-free application structures in App Bundle, AppDir, and AppImage formats, plus FreeBSD/Linux binary compatibility
• Emphasizes security, stability, and performance; an attempt to build an environment familiar to macOS users as open source
