R-Studio for Linux is a powerful and cost-effective data recovery software family from R-TT, extended to the Linux operating system. Thanks to the flexible parameters and custom settings of R-Studio for Linux, users get complete control over data recovery tasks. R-Studio for Linux recovers data from reformatted, damaged, or deleted disks and partitions, as well as from logical disks and partitions. In addition to disks with ordinary Linux file systems, R-Studio for Linux recovers files from Windows, FreeBSD/OpenBSD/NetBSD/Solaris, and Macintosh formatted disks. Raw file recovery (scanning for known file types) can also be used on heavily damaged or unknown file systems. Recovered files can be saved to disks with any file system supported by the Linux kernel (e.g. ext2, ext3, FAT, NTFS).

R-Studio for Linux recovers files:

  • Deleted from the computer and emptied from the Recycle Bin
  • Damaged by viruses, power failures, or sudden interruptions
  • From disks reformatted with the same or a different file system
  • With damaged or bad sectors, R-Studio for Linux creates a full disk image and recovers from it, preventing further physical damage to the disk.
