Prototype

A prototype is an original form or typical example, a basis or standard. It is the original form of a product before a trial product comes out, and it must go through development verification and mass-production verification to become a trial product. A prototype is "an unfinished version of an information system, or an early model of a system that includes its key functions." The prototype is continuously improved and supplemented until all of the user's requirements are accurately reflected. In practice, the final design of many applications is approved through continuous extension and reinforcement of the prototype.
