Panorama originally means a wide view. Today it mostly refers to a technique or device that captures the entire scenery in all 360° directions, or to a photograph or picture captured that way. When writing it in Chinese characters, it is worth referring to how the term is actually used in China: 全景 (quanjing) refers to the scenery within a 180° field of view, and 環景 (huanjing) refers to the scenery within a 360° field of view.
