OpenBSD is an open-source BSD-family operating system derived from NetBSD. OpenBSD is developed with a focus on computer security, and the project is currently led by Theo de Raadt.
OpenBSD developers do not shy away from auditing source code line by line for security, and they replace parts with security problems with their own implementations. Well-known examples include OpenSSH, LibreSSL, and OpenNTPD.
