About

  • Omarchy is an omakase-style distribution based on Arch Linux using the Hyprland tiling window manager, with nearly every tool needed for development included by default
  • Rather than a simple collection of packages, it aims to be a complete system that considers both aesthetics and productivity. It features full keyboard-driven shortcut navigation, with Super key combinations for launching apps, arranging windows, and switching workspaces
  • Default apps such as Obsidian, Signal, mpv, OBS Studio, Chromium, Spotify, LibreOffice, and Zoom cover both productivity and entertainment
  • Ranges from powerful CLI/TUI tools such as fzf, Zoxide, ripgrep, eza, and fd to gaming platforms such as Steam/Retroarch/Minecraft launchers
  • Also provides developer tools such as LazyVim-based Neovim, Docker, GitHub CLI, and Mise
