NSSM stands for "Non-Sucking Service Manager". It is an open-source tool that lets you register and manage ordinary applications (executables, batch files, etc.) as Windows services in a Windows environment. A Windows service is a program that runs in the background, starting automatically at system startup or acting on specific events. NSSM makes it easy to configure and manage such services.
