The Family Computer is a home video game console released by Nintendo on July 15, 1983, also called the Famicom or FC. In North America and Europe, outside Asia, it was released under the name Nintendo Entertainment System (NES for short). In South Korea, Hyundai Electronics released it as the Hyundai Comboy.
