Neuromeka (Neuromeka Co., Ltd.) is a South Korean industrial robot manufacturer focused on collaborative robots, founded in 2013. Its headquarters is at 78 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It was listed on KOSDAQ on November 4, 2022 under the special listing track for technology growth companies (ticker 348340), and its portfolio includes the collaborative robot 'Indy', the autonomous mobile robot 'Moby', the delta robot 'D', and controller, actuator, remote management, and vision solutions. It supplies collaborative robots to Hyundai Robotics.

Business areas and model

Neuromeka runs a RaaS (Robot as a Service) model centered on collaborative-robot-based automation solutions suited to small and medium-sized manufacturers. 'IndyGO' is an integrated service covering analysis–design–installation–operation–maintenance/repair, and lowers the initial investment barrier through leasing and monthly subscription billing.

The remote management service 'IndyCARE' provides robot status monitoring, operational data collection, event logs, and video streaming.

Core products and technology

  • Collaborative robot Indy — an in-house designed and manufactured collaborative robot lineup, supporting a collision detection algorithm, impedance control, and an Android tablet-based teach pendant. It consists of models with payloads of 3, 5, 7, 10, and 12 kg and a 7-DOF research model (Indy-RP2).
  • Autonomous mobile robot Moby — an AMR platform that extends the working range of collaborative robots, moving to target positions while avoiding obstacles using steering wheel modules and LiDAR/3D sensors. The agricultural 'Moby-Agri' performs autonomous driving and crop monitoring in greenhouse smart farms.
  • Delta robot D — a high-speed, high-precision 4-axis delta robot based on a vibration-suppression design, mass-produced in the D3 (3 kg) and D6 (6 kg) standard models.
  • Smart actuator CORE — a joint drive module that integrates a frameless motor, harmonic reducer, multi-turn absolute encoder, EtherCAT slave board, and motor driver in a hollow-shaft structure, offered in CORE100/200/500/1000 models.
  • Robot controller STEP — provides a Linux/Xenomai-based hard real-time control environment and the NRMKPlatform SDK, and adopts an EtherLab-based EtherCAT master. STEP2 runs 4 kHz model-based impedance control, and STEP3 supports high-speed deep learning inference.
  • Remote management IndyCARE & vision IndyEye — IndyCARE supports remote maintenance with robot status, video streaming, and event logs, and IndyEye is a vision solution supporting deep learning-based object recognition, automatic coordinate calibration, and conveyor tracking.
