Network forensics can be said to be used wherever networks are involved. It is not limited to a particular area; anyone working in IT needs it. Developers are no exception. Now, let's step into the world of network analysis.

'Forensic' often brings to mind searching for legal evidence, but forensics covers every category of finding evidence/traces, such as analysis methods and processes. It is also called 'packet mining' or 'packet forensics'.
