Nagle's algorithm? An algorithm developed to reduce the number of packets on a network.
About
- In networking, Nagle's algorithm is built on the principle "Rather than sending small amounts many times, send a lot at once whenever possible (Effective TCP)".
- The principle of Nagle's algorithm is to send data after receiving an ACK, store data in the output buffer until the ACK arrives, and once the ACK is received, packetize all the data in the buffer and send it. For example, A packetizes and sends the data 'N', and instead of continuing to send the next data, sends it to the output buffer to be stored. Then, when the ACK arrives, it sends the data 'agle' stored in the output buffer.
