Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an identity verification method that requires users to provide two pieces of evidence, such as a password and a one-time password, to prove their identity and access online accounts or other sensitive material.
The second authentication factor adds another safeguard, making unauthorized access one step harder.
