The mnm project is building a legitimate email replacement: a client, a server, and a simple protocol between them.
A project building the whole client/server/protocol (TMTP) to replace email.
Two main goals
A far more secure messaging (correspondence) model
- Choose the organizations/sites that deliver your messages
- Choose the organizations/people who can send you messages
- Know where a message was originally sent from
- Block anyone you have contacted
- Stop seeing a site's traffic once you leave it
Features email doesn't have
- Forms/surveys saved as tables
- Data-driven charts
- Slide deck layouts
- Hashtags and private tagging
- Hyperlinks to messages or other threads
- Markdown-based message formatting & layout
- Many more features that aid efficiency, creativity, focus, and comprehension
