Features

• A tool that automatically converts HTTP traffic captured with mitmproxy into an OpenAPI 3.0 spec
• You can reverse-engineer a REST API just by running the app and capturing its traffic
• Added support for processing HAR files exported from browser DevTools
• How it works
  • Capture HTTP traffic through mitmproxy (recommended: use mitmweb)
  • Save the traffic and run mitmproxy2swagger, which analyzes it and generates an OpenAPI schema
  • In the generated YAML schema, remove ignore: from the Paths you need and adjust the details
  • Run mitmproxy2swagger again on the edited schema to generate the final spec
• Along with the generated schema, also provides a documented HTML file generated automatically via redoc-cli
