Minutes (hoeuirok, 會議錄) are a written record taken directly of a meeting or hearing. They generally describe the events of the meeting and note the attendees, the issues as recognized by participants, and the related responses or decisions on those issues.
Parliamentary minutes (uisarok, 議事錄) are the record of the meetings of a national assembly. Under the "principle of open meetings", they must be published and distributed except for parts resolved to require particular secrecy. The British parliamentary record commonly called "Hansard", privately published (私刊) by T.C Hansard in 1803, is well known.
In English they are called "minutes", which comes from the Latin word minuta scriptura, meaning "notes written roughly".
