An extremely fast linter for directory and file names

Features

  • A lightweight, extremely fast linter that checks whether file and folder names follow predefined naming rules
    • Checks thousands of files and directories in milliseconds, so it can be applied to large projects too
  • Rules can be configured with a single .ls-lint.yml file; supports Unicode multilingual file names and all extensions
  • Various rules such as kebab case, camel case, and regular expressions can be set per file extension
  • Written in Go, so it runs on all operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), with many installation options such as GitHub Action, npm, Docker, and Homebrew
