Until now, implementing Hangul input methods involved a lot of repeatedly used code, which was wasteful and hard to maintain. This project was created to share the core algorithms of Hangul input method implementation so that Hangul input routines can be implemented easily.
Feature
- Provides code implementing the basic behavior of a Hangul input method. With libhangul's HangulInputContext, you can easily implement Hangul input without writing your own Hangul composition routine.
- Provides a Hanja dictionary file and search routines. The data a Hangul input method needs for Hanja conversion is provided as a Hanja dictionary file, along with functions to easily look up the desired Hanja in that file.
- Provides a few simple Unicode Hangul processing routines.
