Kurtosis

Kurtosis (尖度) is a measure of the peakedness of a probability distribution. It is used to measure how densely the observations are concentrated around the center. If the kurtosis value (K) is close to 0, the dispersion is close to a normal distribution. If it is less than 0 (K<0), the distribution can be judged to be flatter and more gradual than a normal distribution, and if the kurtosis value is a positive number greater than 0 (K>0), the dispersion can be considered a more peaked distribution than a normal distribution.
