Jenkins is a tool that provides continuous integration services in software development. When many developers work on a single program, it enables continuous integration by having each of them frequently upload their work to a repository such as Git in a shared area, to prevent version conflicts. It is licensed under the MIT License.

Jenkins was forked from Hudson after a dispute with Oracle.
