Jamoya-one

Korean file names set in the macOS Finder show up with their jamo (letter components) split apart on Windows and elsewhere. I built a web and CLI tool that fixes this. It works by normalizing NFD-encoded file names to NFC. All conversion happens locally. (ㅍㅏㅇㅣㄹㅁㅕㅇ → 파일명, i.e. decomposed jamo → composed "pa-il-myeong", "file name")
Usage
- Web: go to Jamoya Moyeora and drag and drop files and folders. (jamoya.one)
- CLI: run the following command. It checks and converts all files in the directory.
npx jamoya-one@latest # 읽기 전용 - NFD로 인코딩 된 파일을 안내합니다.
npx jamoya-one@latest --write # 쓰기 - 파일명을 NFC로 인코딩합니다.
The CLI is an npm package, so it requires Node.js and npm. Download and install the latest LTS binary from the Node.js website, or use a version manager such as nvm.
