Isometric projection (also called isometric drawing) or isometric view is a method of visually representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional plane in technical and engineering drawings, in which the drawing is projected so that the angles between the x, y, and z axes are all equal, or 120°. It is popularly also called quarter view or '2.5D', and in the English-speaking world the names 'three-quarter view (3⁄4 view)' and 'pseudo 3D' are also used.
