How to handle IP conflicts
- Select the
Advanced Settings > Network Management > Internal Network Settingsmenu, - Check the "Block communication from MAC addresses with an IP different from the configured IP" item under "Manual IP Assignment Settings".
- Register the exact assigned IP/MAC addresses.
- Apply.
Switch hub mode settings
Setting IPTIME to switching hub mode takes only two steps.
Manually set the internal network IP range.
- Go to the "Advanced Settings > Network Management > Internal Network Settings" page.
- Enter any internal IP address in "Internal IP Address". This address becomes the IP address of the IPTIME router. (e.g. if you enter
192.168.0.200, you will later have to access the admin page at http://192.168.0.200/) - After applying, click the restart system button.
Stop the DHCP server.
- Go to the page above again.
- Set the "DHCP Server Settings" radio button to "Stop"
- Click the Apply button.
It will now work as a switching hub. Connect the upstream router with a LAN cable to a port other than the WAN port.
