Image stabilization

Image stabilization (IS) refers to technology that prevents or corrects image shake caused by device movement due to an unstable mount or grip. It broadly divides into optical methods using the lens and methods using the image sensor. Optical methods were mainly used where people look directly, such as binoculars and astronomical telescopes, and in the past era of film recording, while media for recording images, such as still cameras and video cameras, use methods based on the image sensor (CCD or CMOS).
