A summary of the process of registering Certificates, Devices, App IDs, and Provisioning.

Certificate

Describes the procedure for creating and registering a certificate.

IOS_-_Register_Certificate_01.png	Select "Keychain Access > Certificate Assistant > Request a Certificate From a Certificate Authority...".
IOS_-_Register_Certificate_02.png	Save the certificate information.
IOS_-_Register_Certificate_03.png	Select the key size (2048 bits) and algorithm (RSA).
IOS_-_Register_Certificate_04.png	Save the certificate request file (CertificateSigningRequest.certSigningRequest).

After uploading the certificate request file to the Apple Developer Center, you can download the CER file (ios_development.cer).

Describes how to register devices for development.

The UDID needed to register a device can be checked in iTunes as shown below.

Describes the provisioning registration procedure.

Add_iOS_Provisioning_Profile_01.png	Go to "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles" > "Provisioning Profiles".
Add_iOS_Provisioning_Profile_02.png	Click the "+" button.
Add_iOS_Provisioning_Profile_03.png	When all steps are complete, you can download the Profile. (You don't have to download it.)
Add_iOS_Provisioning_Profile_04.png	To upload to the iPhone, go to "Preference" > "Accounts" in XCode and add an account.
Add_iOS_Provisioning_Profile_05.png	After adding the account, click the "Refresh" button and the profile is added to "Signing Identities". Then just restart XCode.
