Gitolite allows you to setup git hosting on a central server, with fine-grained access control and many more powerful features.
How to setup
First, generate an SSH public key on the client.
When generation finishes, the ~/.ssh/id_rsa private key and the ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub public key are created. Send the public key file to the server.
On the server, save the public key file sent above, renaming it to [사용자이름].pub (your user name). Then proceed as below.
$ cd $HOME
$ git clone git://github.com/sitaramc/gitolite
$ gitolite/install -ln
## $HOME/bin가 이미 $PATH에 등록돼있다고 가정.
$ gitolite setup -pk $HOME/[사용자이름].pub
After that, it is done if cloning the repository with the git clone [email protected]:gitolite-admin command completes successfully.
