About

A tool developed to visualize Git repositories so they can be browsed on the web, providing static HTML page generation including files, commits, and code highlighting
Implemented in Go, supporting fast build speed and a simple execution structure
Automatically generates a static site in the ./output folder with just the gitmal . command in the repository directory
Provides Markdown rendering and a choice of code highlighting themes
- Various themes such as github-dark can be specified with the --theme option
Supports running with Docker, easy to use on a container basis without local environment setup
Supports file size optimization and compressed builds through the --minify and --gzip options
Can generate static pages even for large repositories such as Kubernetes
