A Dummy Element that passes incoming data through unmodified. It has useful diagnostic features such as offset and timestamp checks.
Properties
- signal-handoffs
- When set to TRUE (the default), identity emits a handoff signal when it processes a buffer.
- When set to FALSE, no signal is emitted, which can improve performance.
