GLUI is a GLUT-based C++ user interface library which provides controls such as buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, and spinners to OpenGL applications. It is window-system independent, relying on GLUT to handle all system-dependent issues, such as window and mouse management.

The OpenGL User Interface Library (GLUI) is a C++ user interface library based on the OpenGL Utility Toolkit (GLUT) that provides advanced user interface elements such as buttons, checkboxes, and radio buttons. Compared to GUI toolkits such as Qt, wxWidgets, and FLTK, the OpenGL User Interface Library is somewhat less complete, but it has the advantages of a small footprint and ease of use. The OpenGL User Interface Library was originally developed by Paul Rademacher and is currently maintained by Nigel Stewart.
