Features

• Full-Stack Oak = FullSoak: at its core is the Oak http server, inspired by Koa
• Serves directly without a build step (minification/mangling is supported)
• Supports JSX and HTM (Hyperscript Tagged Markup, which has more advanced features built in than JSX)
  • Neither needs a separate build step; JSX transformation is handled automatically per file
• It's Preact. Similar to React but much lighter
• SSR-first & SSR-optimized: see Deno's JSX Precompile
• (Mostly) WYSIWYG. Compared with sophisticated frameworks such as Next.js, Remix, or Deno's Fresh, FullSoak is designed to be quite "feature-poor"
  • Start with a "controller" file (as in traditional "MVC")
  • Render TSX components as text/html content (i.e., plain strings)
  • The content hydrates itself on the client side
