DIY open-source Flipper Zero clone
About
- Flopper Ziro is a project that provides the well-known hacking tool Flipper Zero as a lowest-cost, build-it-yourself open-source version
- Built on the Arduino IDE, so any engineer can easily modify and extend it
- Supports various hacking features such as reading and emulating RFID/NFC, infrared (IR), and radio frequency (RF) signals, RubberDucky, and more
- Adds practical features such as a 3D-printed shell, TF card storage, and battery management
- Not a full commercial replacement; a project specialized for non-commercial, learning, and DIY purposes
Project overview
- Flopper Ziro is a clone similar to the original Flipper Zero, but as cheap as possible, DIY, and open source so anyone can build it
- Can be developed and programmed directly in the Arduino IDE
- This project is a non-profit effort for entertainment and educational purposes
- Not intended to replace commercial or professional devices
Hardware components
- STM32-L432KC microcontroller
- FS1000a radio frequency transmitter
- RXB12 radio frequency receiver
- PN532 RFID/NFC module
- PN7150 support is also planned
Key features
- Supports RubberDucky keystroke automation
- RFID/NFC: work in progress, UID reading and support for various formats planned
- Infrared (IR): can read, emulate, and save signals
- Radio frequency (RF): can read, emulate, and save signals
- Supports saving/loading to SD card
- Displays battery level and SD capacity
- All features are programmable with the Arduino IDE
